About us

Magen Protective Services was founded in 2022 with a clear objective and goal in mind. The intent of our CEO is to offer quality security services to our clients. Through employing experienced security officers, being professional and educating ourselves on our client’s specific needs, we believe we will offer you top quality security services.

The word “Magen” is the Hebrew translation for the English word “Shield”. Magen Protective Services’ logo represents a short story in our CEO’s life. The Hexagon shield signifies Carey Clarke’s cultural upbringings and represents a community that gave him endless opportunities in his security career. The hummingbird located in the center of our logo is the national bird of our CEO’s birthplace of Jamaica. The six stars in our logo represents six of the seven United States Army Values Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. These six values are the foundation and building blocks of Magen Protective Services.

We believe our purpose is to serve and protect our clients with bravery, knowledge and professionalism and that is our recipe to quality!

About our CEO

Our CEO Carey Clarke joined the United States Army in 2014 and is still currently serving the Florida Army National Guard. Over the years, Sergeant Clarke has served both our Country and our State. He has completed two tours overseas and multiple in country missions such as; Hurricane Relief Rescue Team missions, Florida Emergency Response Team during the COVID-19 pandemic, riot controls and Texas-Mexico border mission. Sergeant Clarke continues to show his selfless service to our Communities, State and Country as a soldier.

Clarke started his security career in 2015 as it went hand in hand with his military job. During his first year in his security career, Clarke gained security experience working in hospitals, gate houses, cooperate offices and many other locations. Over the years Clarke quickly climbed the ranks in both his military and private security careers. In 2019 Clarke became a security manager on a joint campus facility. After returning from a 10 month long tour overseas in 2022, Clarke formed Magen Protective Services. Clarke felt the need to offer his expertise on a wider scale within the community he was working. In 2023 he resigned from his position as security manager to grow Magen Protective Services into what he believes will change the way the world views security.

“In an organization there needs to be a few non-negotiables. These non-negotiables will set standards. These standards will generate quality.” -Carey Clarke
